Note:For most carbureted applications, we recommend setting the regulator from 5 to 5.5 psi. Note that the higher you set the pressure, the more you are restricting the flow of fuel through the regulator so it is best to keep the pressure setting as low as practical to assure the highest flow of fuel. Injected applications typically run in the 40 to 50 psi range which is dependent upon your specific engine requirements. Again, the lower pressure setting, the more total fuel can flow through the regulator. | |
